One of the two people arrested on charges of carrying drugs at 10 p.m. Dec. 10, 2014, at Kona International Airport has changed his plea to guilty.

Jacob D. Stone, 28, of South Kohala, was charged with first-degree meth trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of second-degree promotion of a dangerous drug.

Stone had 91.3 grams, or 3.26 ounces, of meth on him when he was arrested, according to police.

His sentencing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Sept. 23.

Co-defendant Rebecca O’Brien, 35, of Kailua-Kona, has already pleaded guilty to related charges and been sentenced to prison.
